Volleyball Analysis Software

JumpServe allows volleyball coaches to simply and thoroughly break down game film, scout opponents and track tendencies. The customizable program allows users to run detailed statistical analysis on full matches, individual players and individual skills.

How It Works
As a user watches a match (either live or on film), they enter plays into the application as they occur. Users can enter plays through keyboard input or voice command. Following the completion of the match, the user can then upload the video onto their computer and sync it with the individual plays. Once plays are entered, JumpServe allows users to review video of any individual play throughout the match and run detailed statistical analysis.
Voice Command
JumpServe now offers the ability to enter plays through voice command. Voice command simplifies data input by allowing users to narrate the play as it happens through a microphone or headset. This allows coaches to have a wide range of users enter plays while still maximizing the data analysis capabilities of JumpServe. This combination of voice command input and extensive film and statistical analysis is unmatched by other software solutions.

Simplicity
JumpServe does not require any advanced technical knowledge to operate. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, allowing users to efficiently track and review different matches and plays. The keystroke and voice command inputs are logical, allowing new users to quickly learn and become comfortable using the software.

Customization
JumpServe allows coaches to customize the way plays are entered. Users can set up default attribute values to minimize the number of keystrokes for common plays, and use their own offensive terminology to classify attack plays. Users also have the option to automatically transition from one play to a pre-selected consequent play, where JumpServe will automatically load a certain team and play type based on the previous play entered(e.g. a dig play for the home team following an attack from the visiting team).

Additionally, JumpServe offers two custom statistical categories: Player Index and Back Row Contribution. Player index is designed to measure a player's overall performance based on the quality of each touch, regardless of position. Back row contribution measures the quality of a player's performance in the back row, analyzing passes, digs, and attacks out of the back row. To calculate these statistics, users assign values to every possible play. This way a coach can customize these two statistical categories to reflect their own coaching philosophy by weighting the importance of certain plays.

Statistical Analysis
Users can generate four very detailed data views and over 100 different graphs. JumpServe can generate graphs for any major statistical category to analyze team or individual player performance over a short or long-term span. Every statistical view can be exported to PDF file, allowing users to easily print and/or share with coaches and players.
